The Diamond Sharpening Steel is finely coated with real diamond dust, giving it ample grit to actually sharpen your blade instead of simply straightening the edge. The rod has an elliptical shape that creates two convex sides that most find easier to use, and a wide, gauntlet-style guard offers great protection for your handle hand. Global’s signature dimple-grip CROMOVA steel handle puts you in comfortable control. Ideal for CROMOVA 18 and other high carbon stainless steel, straight-edge blades.
